Life in the fast lane: the last few days

Important people and times the last few days.

Esther, now 7 and Violet Marie is 2 years old. Here on the farm, checking out the baby cows on a beautiful, Autumn day. Violet belongs to Matthias and Rachel and she was born April 5, 2020. She melts my heart so. I love how she laughs and growls and to spend time with her. We made Opa 7 layer bars earlier in the day for Opa's birthday that was on 10/22. He is 71 years old.

Eliah, stopping by to join us for a spaghetti dinner. He is donning his skunk hat, a favorite of his when he was very young. Celia, Sampson and Poppop were here as well. We always love it when Eliah comes to visit.

Mike and my dad spend some time in the morning picking apples from the trees before the abnormally cold temperatures set in for a few days and could ruin the rest of the apple crop. Love it when he stops by. He makes the most Amazing artesian bread!

It was a wonderful evening spent with great friends and yummy food! Went to Don and Colette's cabin where we all brought food to share and recognized birthday milestones by the old folks! LOL!

I was blessed to take Esther to Wakanda Park in Menomonie where we got to play and visit the animals in the animal park. We also went out for Mexican food! I love this little lady so much and treasure every chance I get to spend time with her on the weekends! She had spent the night at Mimi and Poppop's house.

Introducing Grace Madeline, Born 3/14/22 to Matthias and Rachel, daughter #2, sister to Violet Marie. She is also a charmer with those big blue eyes and cuter then the pumpkin she's sitting by.

Here is Mike with our newest addition! Meet Thomas Eleazar Perez, parents are Celia and Tommy Perez, my daughter and her hubby. She is such an awesome mom. I'm so proud of how good of a mama she is.

Here is my pal Esther and myself. We were just heading out to go to the Laura Ingalls Wilder festival in Pepin, WI. She got to see what it was like to not have the modern day conveniences we have today like telephones, cellphones, electricity. She got to participate in several activities of daily living without modern conveniences, ie: drilling a hole in wood, cooking a meal, weaving fabric, debarking a tree just to name a few.

There is so much more to share and update, but for now, this is a really quick update and more to come.
God Bless you! Know he loves you no matter what!
